Human Resources Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Department is seeking a skilled and talented HR Coordinator to join the HR team. The HR Coordinator will be part of the HR team of 4 and will support the Senior Vice President of People. This is a fast-paced role and requires someone with good communication (written and verbal), organization, writing and advance computer skills.

The ideal candidate possesses strong judgment, prioritization and organizational skills and can drive tasks/projects to completion under limited supervision and as part of a team. They are tech savvy, with high proficiency with Office 365 applications and able to catch on to various other IT systems quickly.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Assist in the completion, organization and management of “Personnel Actions”, employee records and HR databases
  • Scheduling and organizing the SVP’s calendar, candidate interviews, employee orientation and HR meetings.
  • Update electronic Human Resources policies
  • Complete Personnel Action Forms when needed
  • Assist with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Assist with recruitment process including updating the applicant tracking software, job postings and interview forms.
  • Answer general employees’ inquiries about HR-related issues
  • Assist in creating regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
  • Lead important HR projects and support other HR projects as needed
  • Assist in processing and coding HR invoices
  • Assist or prepare correspondence as requested
  • Perform other related duties in support of the Human Resources department.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as supporting a team
  • Highly focused on the detail and organization of work
  • Values and applies the principals of ethics, fairness, respect, inclusion and confidentiality.
  • Effective inter personal and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter who is strongly motived and willing to take initiative
  • Ability to function well in a growing and high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Three or more years’ administrative experience
  • Previous experience working with or in a human resources department is desired.
