Washington, D.C. – Ocean Conservancy is proud to announce the recent appointment of Bonnie M. Crabtree, Senior Client Advisor at Korn Ferry®, to its Board of Directors, which is dedicated to bringing their expertise and influence to the mission of protecting our ocean from the greatest global challenges.

“Ocean Conservancy welcomes the deep experience and passion for Florida that Bonnie brings to our board of directors,” said Janis Searles Jones, CEO of Ocean Conservancy. “She has a long-standing track record for both community service and global partnerships, which will be invaluable in shaping our work to safeguard Florida’s celebrated coasts and waters.”

Ocean Conservancy has been active in the Sunshine State for more than three decades through its Gulf Restoration and Sustainable Fisheries programs, and the International Coastal Cleanup. It recently launched its Florida-focused Shores Forward initiative with the City of Miami. Ocean Conservancy is also the National Ocean Partner for the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee. Super Bowl LIV takes place in Florida on February 2, 2020.

“Ocean Conservancy has an impressive track record and, as a results-oriented individual, I am honored to help it continue to make an impact,” said Crabtree. “It is terrific to serve on a board with like-minded leaders who share the passion of saving our ocean, our wildlife and our beaches. I look forward to working with Ocean Conservancy to advance our solutions to some of Florida’s most pressing ocean and coastal challenges.”
