There is growing concern that the effects of ocean acidification could be felt along the Atlantic Coast.

As the dangerous trajectory continues upward, shellfish, including oysters, mussels and crabs, may soon become scarce on people’s dinner plates —and hard to come by for hungry ocean wildlife.

The President’s budget recommends a $1 billion cut to NOAA.
