Amanda Nickeson

Amanda Nickeson joined Ocean Conservancy in 2025 as its Vice President, Major and Planned Giving. Amanda is a seasoned nonprofit fundraising leader with over two decades of experience in strategic philanthropy and a lifelong commitment to protecting our oceans and planet.

Amanda has secured transformational seven- and eight-figure gifts, built high-performing teams and forged partnerships across governments, NGOs, corporations, and research institutions. Her career highlights include leading campaigns for pioneering marine science at Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute and shaping innovative fundraising models at The Nature Conservancy. In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Amanda founded a successful consulting practice and is a proud founding member of Chief, dedicated to advancing women’s leadership.
