Jenna DiPaolo is an institutionalist who is passionate about human rights, the environment and climate solutions, and committed to cultivating a culture of respect, growth, accountability and excellence. She joined Ocean Conservancy in 2024 as its Chief Brand and Communications Officer where she leads the organization’s efforts to build and strengthen its reputation, influence and brand visibility to provide a healthy ocean and a thriving planet, forever and for everyone. She is also the head of Ocean Conservancy’s Protect Where We Play initiative, which aims to tap into the collective joy of sports and entertainment fandom to inspire new ocean advocates.

Prior to joining Ocean Conservancy, Jenna was the Chief Communications Officer at Greenpeace USA where she was committed to building the strategic communications muscle necessary to deliver change at the scale and pace necessary to avoid the worst of the climate crisis.

Jenna grew up in Buffalo, NY, and has a B.A. in International Relations and Art History from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and a M.A. in Human Rights from George Washington University in the District of Columbia. She currently lives in Washington, DC, where she loves spending time outside with her husband, son and dog named Macaroon Cuddles (who was clearly named by a young child).
