Taking the Pulse of the Gulf
by Matt Love, Conservation Biologist and GIS Specialist on Ocean Conservancy’s Gulf Restoration Program
To create the gap analysis report, Ocean Conservancy first compiled this extended inventory of nearly 700 past and existing long-term monitoring efforts in the Gulf. This inventory is available on NOAA’s Environmental Response Management Application (ERMA) website, in the layers table on the right, under “Restoration” > “Ocean Conservancy Gap Analysis.”
