Katherine Tsantiris is Director of Ocean Conservancy’s Government Relations team. Prior to joining Ocean Conservancy, she was a Sea Grant Fellow in Senator Wyden’s office and worked in the Congressional Affairs Division of NOAA’s Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research. Originally from Connecticut, her love for the ocean was inspired by frequent trips to the Connecticut shore with her family and spending summers in the small Greek fishing where her father grew up. Katherine received her Bachelors in Environmental Science from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Outside of work, Katherine likes to get outside with her dog and try new recipes.
