Former International Government Relations Manager

Keondra Bills Freemyn is the former International Government Relations Manager at Ocean Conservancy.

A proud California native with a passion for the environment, Keondra comes most recently from the U.S. State Department, where she was part of the team in the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs’ Office of Economic Policy, dealing with environmental issues in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. She has been a Sustainable Development Fellow with the Millennium Villages Project in Kenya, and a Peace Corps volunteer in Fiji, where she focused on community-centered solutions to environmental issues and economic development.   

Outside of work, Keondra is an accomplished poet, and released her first collection in 2017, “things you left behind.”
