Story Release Agreement

By submitting your response to this survey, you grant Ocean Conservancy, a District of Columbia nonprofit corporation, and its affiliates, partners, and agents, a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and distribute your submission, in whole or in part, in any medium now known or later developed, including but not limited to websites, social media, advertisements, print materials, and email communications.

You represent and acknowledge that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or, if you are under 18, that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consents to the terms of this agreement on your behalf.
• Your submission is original and does not infringe any third party’s rights.
• You will not be compensated for the use of your submission.
• Ocean Conservancy may use your first name and general geographic location (e.g., city and state) alongside your submission.
• Ocean Conservancy is under no obligation to use your submission.
• You waive any right to inspect or approve the final use of your submission.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the District of Columbia.
