MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Ocean Conservancy at Our Ocean 2023

Panama City – Ocean Conservancy experts will join Our Ocean 2023—a gathering of global leaders, partners and civil society—to seek solutions to some of the greatest global challenges facing our ocean. 

Ocean Conservancy experts will be at key events from March 2-4, 2023, that focus on accelerating the transition to a clean ocean energy future, preventing plastic and ghost gear from entering our ocean, and eliminating marine debris. We will also announce new commitments to scale up action on clean energy and marine debris to ensure a healthier ocean protected by a more just world. 

Ocean Conservancy’s Global Ghost Gear Initiative will conduct a ghost gear removal from the ocean near Panama City.
