As Ocean Conservancy’s Corporate Partnerships Manager, Emily engages the private sector in ocean conservation efforts, particularly relating to marine debris. She holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont, where she enjoyed spending time at Lake Champlain and was intrigued to learn about the Champlain Sea that existed more than 10,000 years ago. Now based in Washington, DC, Emily enjoys fostering dogs and cats from a local shelter in her spare time and visits the local trails along the Anacostia and Potomac rivers whenever possible.
