Rafeed is a former Ocean Planning Program Specialist & Special Assignment Photographer for Ocean Conservancy. A graduate from the University of Connecticut (BS ’17), his passion for the ocean was cultivated growing  up on the shores of Long Island Sound in Southeastern Connecticut. Although Rafeed has a brain trained in hard science, his heart lies in photography and science-communication. When he’s not hard at work in the office you’ll find Rafeed exploring a beach, hiking in a forest, star gazing in an open field or watching football (go Colts!)—always with his trusty camera within reach.
