Adrienne began her love for the water’s excitement and calm as she spent her childhood summers with her grandparents on the shores of Annapolis, Maryland. She would enjoy Chesapeake Bay sunsets, and was taught to water ski and regularly navigate the family boat. Her travels have taken her to many beautiful bodies of water, which has added to her memorable experiences. Adrienne realized that she couldn’t live without those sunsets and boat adventures, so she continues to spend summers boating and capturing the beauty that only the shores can bring.

Adrienne completed her bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus in Management at Howard University. She started her career several decades ago in Human Resources by helping small and large organizations improve their processes, implement strategic initiatives and strengthen their Human Resources function. Her proudest moments as an HR leader have been helping organizations reach new pipelines of diverse talent and influencing organizational cultures that allow employees across the organization to grow and thrive. Adrienne continued her education at Georgetown University, where she acquired a Masters’ Degree in Human Resource Management.

She is Ocean Conservancy’s Chief People and Culture Officer and is delighted to work with an organization that aligns with her passion for effective human capital work programs as she supports their mission and driven teams.
