Edward M. Miller serves as President of WestWind Management, a private investment company and is Trustee of the WestWind Foundation. He is also chairman of Sabre Yachts Corporation.

He served as Vice President in the Venture Capital Group at Rothschild, Inc. from 1972 to 1980 when he founded Island Couriers which established the express package industry in 22 Caribbean countries. In 1987, Miller sold Island Couriers to Federal Express Corporation and thereafter served as President of the newly formed Federal Express Caribbean & South America Ltd. and managed the opening of FEDEX’s Latin American operations.  

Miller is a member of the World Presidents Organization, serves on the Executive Committee for the Southern Environmental Law Center and served as Chairman of the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School. He was co-chairman of the Monticello Cabinet and chairman of the Preserving Jefferson’s View campaign. 

Miller served as Company Executive officer and project officer with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in Vietnam.
