Steven Harris Strongin is the head of Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs. He joined the firm in 1994 and became a partner in 2002. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Strongin spent 12 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, most recently as the Director of Monetary Policy Research. Previously he was an economist at the Center for the Study of Economy and State at the University of Chicago and a researcher at PanHeuristics, a think tank focused on military strategy and energy policy.
