IKEA Social Entrepreneurship is a critical supporter of Ocean Conservancy’s Solutions to Plastic Pollution Through Inclusive Recycling (SPPIRe) project in Colombia. The project works to support the health, wellbeing, and livelihoods of Informal Sector Waste Collectors (ISWCs), advocating for recognition of their environmental service, and improving collection and sorting of more types of plastics where end markets are identified.
