Addie Haughey is the Former Associate Director of Government Relations at Ocean Conservancy in Washington D.C., where she focuses on federal ocean policy. Previously, she served as a Federal Lands Associate at Defenders of Wildlife, where she advocated for wildlife on National Forests and on other public lands. Her current work ranges from lobbying Congress to working within the regulatory process to address a wide range of threats to ocean resources and wildlife, as well as climate change.

Addie earned her J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law and her B.S. in Environmental Policy and Planning from Virginia Tech.
