Cody is the former Senior Manager of Climate Change Communications at Ocean Conservancy, where he works primarily with the Climate and Ocean Acidification programs. Originally from the California coast, he has always loved the ocean and environment. After studying ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Santa Cruz, he studied sea birds and marine mammals before getting his masters in science journalism at Boston University. When not working, Cody loves to ski, bird watch, attempt to play the piano and try to tire his puppy out.
