Daniel Hubbell was Ocean Conservancy’s former Shipping Emissions Campaign Manager and is based in Washington D.C. After a childhood spent on beautiful coastal areas like Acadia National Park, Dan was pretty sure he wanted to spend the rest of his life in conservation. After graduating from American University, he slowly found his way to our ocean after working on private forestry, freshwater environments and then, finally, through combatting the wildlife trade. After five years of experience in maritime policy, whale and Arctic issues, he cannot imagine doing anything else. In his spare time, Dan writes amateur history, performs in amateur theater and all other sorts of unprofessional things.
