Michael Freeman works with government officials, developers, community stakeholders and other environmental organizations to develop responsible offshore wind energy policies which meet climate and conservation goals. His background is in renewable energy and conservation policy, as well as entomology. Michael was born and raised in the suburbs of Washington, DC, studied marine biology in Florida and forest disturbance ecology in Washington state, and returned to DC to start a career in environmental policy. He loves both Star Wars and Trek, and enjoys cycling and making insect art.
