Taryn Cohen is the Resource Development Manager at Ocean Conservancy, where she helps raise funds for the organization through grants, corporate partnerships and events. She grew up in Miami, Florida and graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of South Florida and an M.A. in Applied Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach. As a Florida native and with family ties to Southern California and Hawaii, she grew up visiting beaches from coast to coast and out on the water, becoming passionate and inspired by the ocean at a young age. In her spare time, Taryn enjoys exploring D.C. and its surrounding areas, crafting and planning her next trip.
