Jaclyn McGarry serves as the program manager for the Global Ghost Gear Initiative® (GGGI), a cross-stakeholder alliance focused on solving the problem of lost and abandoned fishing gear worldwide. She helps to facilitate GGGI’s solutions projects around the globe. She has a master’s degree in coastal environmental management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and a certificate in community-based environmental management. When she’s not working, Jackie loves attempting yoga, creating new things in the kitchen, collecting red lipstick and hiking with her dog. She is based in Ocean Conservancy’s office in Washington, DC.
