Chever X. Voltmer is the former Plastics Initiative Director. Previously, she worked at the Office of Ocean and Polar Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, where she was the lead for international marine debris issues, overseeing U.S. engagement on this issue in the United Nations, G7, G20, APEC, ASEAN, and other fora.
