Ki’Amber Thompson was a former Roger Arliner Young (RAY) Marine Conservation Diversity Fellow focused on stakeholder outreach and building relationships with coastal communities impacted by ocean changes. She is from San Antonio, Texas and a recent graduate of Pomona College. Her passion for the environment grew out of a desire to see environmental justice in her community. Ki’Amber is a poet, aspiring videographer and enjoys communing with the natural environment and doing community-engagement work. No matter where she goes or what she does, Ki’Amber remains grounded by her community.
